Tastemakers Community Manager
KBOX is opening a KOLMOK, a Korean alley, inside Vincom Mega Mall at Ocean City. By Hanoi, for Hanoi. The Tastemakers community is a critical part of KOLMOK's value proposition, and building it is your job. Before the doors open, we're standing up the founding cohort of 12 Hanoi tastemakers. Not KOLs, but the Gen Z voices people actually trust, who discover, curate, and introduce Korean culture, beauty, fashion, and food to the city. You'll build that community from zero. Cast the first cohort, run the program month by month from Hanoi to Seoul and back, and turn every activation into content and reach. This isn't a one-off campaign but a repeatable engine: cohort after cohort, it's the first version of a marketing platform that brands will later pay to be part of. This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Hanoi city-center office. You own the engine, not a single season. You'll work closely with our marketing manager and report to the CEO.

Scope
Cross-border (Hanoi ↔ Seoul)
What you'll do
- Recruit and cast the founding cohort of 12 Hanoi Tastemakers. Run the open application, curate the shortlist, and turn the audition into a content-worthy moment rather than an interview.
- Own the community end to end: the kickoff, the monthly sessions (My Hanoi, what Hanoi wants from Korea, curation workshops), and the day-to-day relationships that keep a group of independent creators moving as one.
- Manage the KOLMOK social media accounts and grow them for high reach and engagement with our target customers.
- Work hand in hand with the Retail Manager to turn the KOLMOK store into a content engine, producing high-engagement content shot in-store with the Tastemakers.
- Turn every activation into content. Partner with the content team so each meetup, workshop, and trip produces stories the audience follows over months, from casting to the reveal to launch.
- Run the Seoul Discovery trip in October: Korean brand shops, concept stores, Gangnam Festival, and founder and creator access, the kind of experiences an ordinary influencer campaign can't fake.
- Bridge Hanoi and Seoul. Help the tastemakers map the "wishlist" of Korean brands and experiences Hanoi actually wants, and feed that curation back to the merchandising team.
- Make decisions with data. Track reach, engagement, applications, content output, earned media, and opening traffic, and let the numbers drive what each cohort does next. Data-driven decision making is a requirement here, not a nice-to-have.
Who we're looking for
- Deep roots in Hanoi's Gen Z, creator, and lifestyle scene. You know who the real tastemakers are, and they pick up when you call.
- Experience building or managing a creator community, KOL/influencer program, or content-led campaign, ideally from the ground up.
- Comfortable running social accounts and growing their reach and engagement.
- A content instinct: you can look at a meetup and already see the story, the clip, and the hook.
- Genuinely data-driven: fluent with social and content analytics, and you let the numbers decide what to make next.
- Genuinely bilingual: native Vietnamese with strong English to work across the Hanoi and Seoul teams.
- Ownership in ambiguity: comfortable building a program with no playbook, moving fast, and staying close to the community.
- Real taste and cultural fluency across Korean and Vietnamese lifestyle, beauty, fashion, food, and music.
Bonus
- A personal following or a creator background of your own.
- Experience with launch or store-opening campaigns.
- Relationships with MCNs, agencies, or media in Hanoi.
- Familiarity with Korean culture, brands, or the K-beauty / K-fashion scene.
- Event production experience.
